Hardware and Application Manager Partition

Issues:

• Hardware manager is NOT application independent:
  • Contains A/Ds for AM
  • Modulator is (often) application dependent
• Too complex interface between HM and power stage:
  • Numerous analog (noise sensitive) signal lines
  • Long signal-cable harnessing for large systems
• Digital interfaces can and should be serial
• Interfaces to system sensors are not considered
