This is the home page of the Web-CAT Student Advisory Board. This board is intended to provide a mechanism for students to have a voice, both in terms of Web-CAT's development and in terms of how students are assessed.
The main objective of the Advisory Board is to collect and prioritize the most important concerns or issues that students have when using Web-CAT.
The current issues raised by the Advisory Board are divided into the following three categories:
StudentFeatureRequests: Prioritized requests for new features or changes that come from students. This is the "wish list" of features that students are currently asking for.
StudentBugs: Defects in the current Web-CAT implementation that students have observed, in priority order.
ImprovingStudentFeedback: Proposed changes or additions to the form and content of the feedback that Web-CAT provides.
The Advisory Board is an all-volunteer student group. Faculty members involved in the Web-CAT project will be available as a resource to answer Board questions, but the intent is for this board to be run by and for students. The board will meet face-to-face as needed, about 2-3 times a semester (or more if it wants), and coordinate on-line otherwise.
